Burglars steal thousands of dollars’ worth of merchandise from Lucky Dog Clothing at Greenwood & 82nd

by | Aug 10, 2016

Thieves broke into Lucky Dog Clothing at 8201 Greenwood Ave. N. last Saturday night, while the owners were at a family wedding, and stole thousands of dollars’ worth of items, plus the cash drawer.
The shop specializes in hard-to-find vintage items, including Nike Air Jordan basketball shoes. Nine pairs of Air Jordans were stolen, including this pair of black shoes, which the shop was selling for $320.
The burglars pried open the back door to the house, then came into the business, which is at the front of the house.
Jordan Stevens tells me they’ve been closed all week to clean up and install a new security system. They plan to reopen on Friday, and will have a free community barbecue from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, to show their appreciation for the neighborhood.
