Replacement in the works for Rising Stars space next to Metropolis

by | Apr 1, 2011

Since Rising Stars children’s store announced yesterday that it was closing on April 28 as a result of the down economy, many people have been wondering whether Phinney would have another empty storefront.
Terry Heiman, co-owner of Metropolis, which subleases the space to Rising Stars, told PhinneyWood today that he has reached an agreement with another business to take over that space, but that nothing has been signed yet. Heiman said he should be able to disclose the new tenant next week.
From Heiman’s email:

Just a reminder to our community, we are all struggling in this economy and I wish to remain in business for awhile yet but we all need customers and more often, not just once a year. We’re celebrating 30 years April 16th and we would like to celebrate 31 also.
