Couth Buzzard Appreciation Day is today – show your support by buying books, donating while listening to day-long concert

by | Jun 23, 2012

Don’t forget that today is Couth Buzzard Appreciation Day, when dozens of musicians and poets are donating their time and talents for a day-long musical extravaganza to show support for the Greenwood bookstore and cafe. The music starts at 10:30 and runs until 4:30, then starts up again for a cabaret from 7:30-9:30 p.m.

Buy books, food and beverages, and stuff the hat to help keep the bookstore in business during this rough economy.

Here’s Couth Buzzard co-owner Theo Dzielak in front of a wall of photos taken by his teenage daughter Ruby Smith, who died last month from Burkitt’s Lymphoma. Theo said he really appreciates the community’s support in this difficult time.
