City conditionally approves development planned for 8820 Aurora Ave. N.

Seattle Department of Construction and Inspections has conditionally approved the development proposed for the vacant lot at 8820 Aurora Ave. N. (formerly the site of the Aurora Motor Inn).

The project will be five-stories tall with 4,524 square feet of warehouse space, 5,246 square feet of office space, and 27 small efficiency dwelling units. Parking will be provided for three vehicles.

Any appeals of the DCI opinion must be received by the Hearing Examiner no later than Aug. 24.
