Thief steals propane tank from gas grill in backyard

by | Apr 3, 2013

Melissa tells us someone went to the trouble of sneaking into her backyard near North 84th Street and Fremont Avenue North and unscrewing the propane tank from her grill.

The grill with a cover is at the side of the house and not easily visible from the street. I suppose I am grateful that the thief was very polite and did not damage the threads on the hookup or the grill overall when removing the tank. I’m not sure if folks should lock their tank to their grill and risk losing the whole thing, but my guess is that they’re only after the tanks.

Has anyone else experienced this?
