The very last Gumshoe 5K, 30-clue detective walk in the Gumshoe’s 17-year run begins August 5 and runs through August 21. Since it began in 2006 and through this year’s special July Gumshoe, the annual event has raised over $78,000 for local non-profits. If you’ve never gumshoed before, put on your sneakers and thinking caps, purchase an entry form at the Phinney Neighborhood Center, Greenwood Hardware, Phinney Books or Couth Buzzard, and head to the Buzzard, where the final walk begins and ends.
Cost for a single entry form is $20, $15 if you drag friends and family along and purchase more than two at the same time. The August Gumshoe proceeds will go to supporting the Greenwood Senior Center, Greenwood Elementary School PTA, and Phinney Ridge Lutheran Church Food Bank.
