Phinney Ridge Community Council hosting discussions with Councilmember Sara Nelson and Woodland Park Zoo tomorrow

The Phinney Ridge Community Council (PRCC) is a volunteer, not-for-profit organization that tracks issues such as public safety, transportation, transit, land use, zoning, city budget priorities, capital improvements, parks, open space use and other civic issues.

On Tuesday, April 5th at 7pm they will host new City-wide representative Sara Nelson and the Woodland Park Zoo via Zoom. Councilmember Nelson is a 30-year Seattle resident, a successful family business owner, and brings an understanding of the importance of good policy making.  She is committed to working collaboratively with colleagues and the Mayor to help Seattle move forward in these times of important challenges.    

The Woodland Park Zoo will be presenting on these topics:

  • Summer concert schedule and crowd management
  • The updated 10-year Zoo Management Plan and inclusion of neighborhood board positions
  • Announcement of a neighborhood survey for this summer
