It’s hard to walk a block on Phinney Ridge without coming upon a Little Free Library filled with interesting, free books. In these challenging times there is a new free stand concept that is starting to pop up around Seattle, the Little Free Pantry.
The Woodland Park Presbyterian Church has created a beautiful and popular one in our neighborhood, and it will provide non-perishable foods and health items for our neighbors in need. It is next to the southbound bus shelter at 70th and Greenwood Avenue. Â
WPPC wanted to let us know about this pantry for three reasons:
First, we very much want to be a good neighbor. Church volunteers will be scheduled to  maintain the area to keep it clean on a daily basis. If you have any concerns or suggestions about the operation and maintenance of the pantry, please contact us at [email protected] or 206-782-3776.
Secondly, if you would like to help with this project, please feel free to donate items. You can place the items directly in the pantry.Â
Third: Please tell people you know of its existence. Peace be with you – we wish you all well during these very challenging times.
