This development is central to the downtown Greenwood corridor, and public input is critical for creating a good fit for our community. There was excellent public participation in the initial outreach for the site, held by Washington Holdings last year at Naked City. Among many ideas, there was reportedly a sizable push for a new grocery store to repopulate the space, and Washington Holdings has taken that feedback and reached out to multiple grocers.
The next phase is Design Review Early Design Guidance for the proposed 6-story, 270-unit apartment building at 8704 Greenwood Ave N. The structure will include 25 Small Efficiency Dwelling Units, retail, and parking for 240 vehicles.
