This week city crews will begin cleaning and painting the Aurora Avenue pedestrian bridge at North 102nd Street in preparation for artist Vicki Scuri’s art installation. Cleaning and painting should take about three weeks.
The pedestrian bridge will remain open during cleaning and painting, although a worker may escort pedestrians through the work zone. There may be temporary bridge closures.
A few weeks after that, crews will begin installing the art, which was paid for from the Neighborhood Street Fund program and approved by residents in the Aurora-Licton Urban Village.
