Construction on Holman Road and 13th Avenue NW signal project begins July 23

by | Jul 16, 2018

Seattle Department of Transportation is about to begin renovating the traffic/crosswalk signals at Holman Road NW and 13th Avenue NW. The project could start as early as July 23 and should last about six weeks.
The current pedestrian bridge will remain and a new signalized crosswalk will be installed to make it safer for pedestrians, especially students heading to nearby Whitman Middle School and Crown Hill Community Center.

Construction hours will be 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays, with potential night and weekend work. Be prepared for temporary road, sidewalk and pedestrian bridge closures, and possible impacts to nearby bus stops.
SDOT will remove two trees to accommodate new ADA curb ramps, but will plant four new trees in the area.
