Great first night for annual PhinneyWood Artwalk — The BIG One — with day two tomorrow

by | May 13, 2017

The weather held for the first night of the annual PhinneyWood Artwalk — The BIG One — as hundreds of people strolled up and down Phinney and Greenwood avenues to see art and hear music at more than 70 galleries and other businesses.

The Artwalk’s second day is from 12-5 p.m. Saturday. Check the Artwalk website because a few venues were only open on Friday or close early on Saturday.

Art by Artists of the Sacred Hoop at Umpqua Bank.

The first annual Seattle Recycled Arts Festival brought an amazing array of art at numerous locations throughout the Artwalk, including this robot and dog at the Greenwood Library.

This fantastic “Moonshot” made from an old Waring blender and salt and pepper shakers, at Urban Light Studios.

And these gorgeous chandeliers made from broken shards of glass, also at Urban Light Studios.
