Friday, Nov. 11 is Veterans Day, a federal holiday, meaning many facilities will be closed, including:
- Schools
- Banks
- Libraries
- Post Office
- Most Seattle Parks and Recreation facilities, including all community centers, teen life centers, environmental learning centers, indoor swimming pools, Green Lake Small Craft Center and Mount Baker Rowing and Sailing Center. (Boat ramps, Amy Yee Tennis Center and golf courses at Interbay, Jackson Park, Jefferson Park and West Seattle will remain open.)
Metro Transit will operate on its Holiday schedule.
Evergreen Washelli Cemetery will hold its annual Veterans Day Celebration, beginning at 10:30 a.m.
