Updated: The backpack was turned in to Metro’s lost and found.
Earlier: Stephanie lost her black backpack on the northbound Metro 5 Express between North 67th and 85th streets at about 5:30 p.m. Wednesday. She called Metro, which said the bus returned to base right after her trip and no backpack was found. So someone on the bus must have picked it up.
The backpack contains her keys and purse, but no cash or credits cards. It does have pictures and other personal items in it. She’ll pay a reward for its safe return.
