Volunteers needed to bend 60 more metal monkey frames for next holiday lighting project

by | Feb 26, 2015

December’s holiday lighting project in Phinney Ridge and Greenwood brought 150 metal monkeys to businesses and trees throughout the neighborhood, and a lot of good press and attention to local businesses. The demand from businesses and residents to sponsor a monkey was so great that organizers are expanding the troupe for next year.

They’re looking for volunteers to help bend 60 more metal monkey frames. The work will take place in three, four-hour sessions at Close Enough Engineering’s workshop at Lake Union on March 16, 18 and 20.
