Herbs House changes from medical to recreational marijuana provider

by | Feb 6, 2015

Herbs House, which opened as a medical marijuana collective at 716 NW 65th St. in the fall 2013, has changed to be a recreational marijuana shop, after the passage of Initiative 502.

As a medical marijuana collective inside a 1920s Craftsman in Ballard/Phinney, Herbs House also had an organic café and juice bar open to the general public. In a press release, Herbs House says it is currently working with the Liquor Control Board in the hopes of one day reopening the medical marijuana collective and the café in the same space as the recreational marijuana shop.
