Auditions will be held for new members of the Northwest Chamber Chorus on Aug. 21 & 24 at Phinney Ridge Lutheran Church, 7500 Greenwood Ave. N.
Music Director Mark Kloepper will have 15-minute audition appointments for experienced choral singers from 7-9 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 21, and 1-4 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 24. Singers must have one prepared classical audition piece, and sight-singing is required. (The audition piece does not need to be memorized, but please bring music for accompanist Ali Webb.)

NWCC has 40 singers. Rehearsals are from 7-9:30 p.m. on Mondays from September to June at Phinney Ridge Lutheran Church. Mandatory weekend and Saturday retreats are held in October, January and April. Recording sessions for a new CD are required in June. Chorus members pay dues of $210 per season. Payment plans and scholarships are available.
