Greenwood’s nonprofit tutoring and writing center 826 Seattle is hosting its fifth annual dance marathon to raise money for its free children’s programs. “Dance Your Cash Off!” is on Thursday, June 19, at Washington Hall, 153 14th Ave., in the Central District. Registration is at 5:30 p.m.; all dancers must be on the floor ready to go at 6 p.m. Grand prizes will be awarded after 11 p.m.

Writer and humorist Lindy West is the emcee; KEXP DJs El Toro and Riz Rollins will keep dancers on their feet. Celebrity judges include Christopher Frizzelle, John Roderick, Sean Nelson, Betsey Brock, Rachel Kessler and David Schmader.
