NW Green Home Walking Tour this Saturday includes Phinney-Greenwood homes, businesses

The NW Green Home Tour is coming up this Saturday with dozens of sustainably built homes and businesses from Woodinville to Shaw Island, including several in Phinney Ridge and Greenwood. Click here for a map of all sites throughout the region. Click here for a map of the North End sites.

The self-guided tour is from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 26.

If you’d like a guided walking tour through Fremont, Phinney Ridge and Greenwood, you can join Feet First Board President Dave Ramsay, who will lead a moderately-paced 5.1 mile walk connecting six of the tour sites. Participants will spend 15-20 minutes at each site. The walking tour will begin at 4301 Leary Way NW.

Neighborhood businesses on the tour include Taproot Theatre’s new expansion at 204 N. 85th St., and Greenwood Hardware, 7201 Greenwood Ave. N.,which recently completed an eco-friendly remodel, including solar panels.
