Taproot Theatre’s Stage Door Cafe grand opening is today

Taproot Theatre, 204 N. 85th St., is celebrating the official grand opening of its new Stage Door Café today. The café will be open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday. It also will serve theater patrons during intermission and after shows.

The café is on the ground floor of Taproot’s new addition, the Kendall Center, which replaces the Eleanor Roosevelt Building, which was destroyed in an October 2009 arson.
