You can check Seattle City Light’s site for updates on a power outage affecting nearly 4,000 customers.
According to City Light, the outage happened at 9:47 a.m. and is expected to be resolved around 4 p.m. if you’re out and about, keep in mind that some traffic lights are out and many businesses are closed.
The cause is listed as being investigated, but it’s probably not a stretch to think it’s related to today’s high winds.
