Mayoral candidate Ed Murray took a short walking tour of Phinney Ridge on Thursday afternoon. Ann Bowden, Development Director at the Phinney Neighborhood Association, gave Murray the tour, along with his campaign assistant Anne David, and Phinney Starbucks Manager Jeff Cornejo.
Murray visited four businesses: A-1 Piano, Greenwood Hardware, Sip & Ship and Tasty. Below, Murray talks with Greenwood Hardware Owner Mike Radice.
Phinney resident Mike Veitenhans, who was also on the tour and took these pictures, said the group discussed neighborhood planning, mental health assistance, the building permit process and Building & Occupation taxes.
The PNA also gave Murray a tour of four Greenwood businesses a few weeks ago. Murray is running against Mayor Mike McGinn, who lives in Greenwood.
