Stolen mail found in Phinney Ridge, finder returns it to owners

by | Feb 18, 2013

Stephen tells us he found some stolen mail on his steps on Sunday morning, on 1st Avenue NW between NW 73rd and 74th streets. The mail belonged to homes on North 77 and North 83rd streets. He delivered the mail to the rightful owners.

So, what do you do if you find stolen – or misdelivered – mail? Do you take it to the right home yourself, or do you put it out for the postal carrier or drop it in a mail box?
