3 Phinney Ridge girls in PNB’s ‘Nutcracker’

Three Phinney Ridge girls have roles in Pacific Northwest Ballet’s “Nutcracker,” which runs from Dec. 7-29 at Seattle Center’s Marion Oliver McCaw Hall.

Ivy JaNayah, a 9th grade student at the Center School, and Annika Greenig, an 8th grader at Hamilton International Middle School, will both play the role of “Chinese.”

Alice Rupp, a 4th grader at Pacific Crest School, plays the role of “Small Servant.”

PNB’s famed “Nutcracker” was created by PNB Founding Artistic Director Kent Stowell and world-famous author and illustrator Maurice Sendak. It features more than 200 roles danced by professional dancers and PNB students.
