Francine Seders Gallery hosting two public events in November

Francine Seders Gallery, 6701 Greenwood Ave. N., will host a panel discussion of “Abstraction in Contemporary Art” with Seattle artists Emily Gherard, Michael Howard, Graham Shutt, Kimberly Trowbridge, and Margaret Watson from 6:30-8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 7. The event is free and open to the public.
On Saturday, Nov. 10, Linda Lau Anusasananan and Alan Chong Lau will read from “The Hakka Cookbook: Chinese Soul Food from around the World” from 2-4 p.m. They will sign copies of the book for sale at the event, and Lau’s original drawings for the book will be on display. They’ll also be serving samples of some of the book’s recipes.
