Green Bean moving yet again, and plans one more move next year

by | Aug 31, 2012

The Green Bean Coffeehouse, which was burned down in an October 2009 arson, moved temporarily inside the Greenwood Sip & Ship and then into the former McDonald’s building at 8533 Greenwood Ave. N., is moving yet again.
The Green Bean will move two doors south, into Sanctuary Church’s offices, at 8515 Greenwood Ave. N., beginning Sept. 24. Hours will be limited. The coffee shop will be open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Friday.
But next spring, the Green Bean plans to move into a new building that will be built between its current shop and Razzi’s Pizzeria. The new building will be part of Piper Village, which includes The Sedges apartments and retail space a block west of Greenwood Avenue North.
