News Noodles reopens six months after fire

by | Jun 8, 2011

New’s Noodles, at 8576 Greenwood Ave. N., reopened for business Monday, more than six months after being heavily damaged by a fire that started in an adjacent business.

Manager Ann Phung told us that New’s Noodles employees spent the last six months working for other Thai restaurants in the region, while the restaurant was repaired after extensive smoke and water damage.
A hand-written sign on the front door asks customers to pay in cash because their phone line isn’t hooked up yet, so they can’t run credit cards. The new phone number will be 206-706-4572. It should hopefully be working sometime on Wednesday.
New’s Noodles serves lunch from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday-Friday; dinner from 3-9:30 p.m. Monday-Thursday; dinner until 10 p.m. on Friday-Saturday; and dinner until 9:30 p.m. on Sunday.
