City Fruit seeks temporary space for tools

by | Jul 28, 2009

The Phinney-Greenwood City Fruit Tree Harvest program needs a temporary loan of garage space in the neighborhood to store an orchard ladder and fruit picking tools for the fruit harvest season, which is from now through early October.
The program is mapping all the fruit trees in the neighborhood and seeking volunteers to help pick excess fruit to donate to those in need.
If you’ve got a little garage space to share or want to help pick fruit, email the Harvest Coordinator.

Go to www.cityfruit.org to find out how you can join us in building a local food movement that supports the entire community!
