The combination of great weather, a lot of projects around our house and Mother’s Day, have kept us from updating PhinneyWood with our usual frequency. Here’s a couple stories you might already be aware of, but if not:
Man found hanging from tree outside Woodland Park Zoo. According to The Seattle Times, a visitor walking up to a zoo entrance Saturday morning saw the body of a man who appeared to have hung himself near the southwest side of the zoo. While it appears to be a suicide, police were investigating.
Greenwood beating victim’s brother seeking donations. KING 5 TV posted a story Friday evening about Todd Boettger’s brother trying to help with the medical bills by going door-to-door to raise money. We’ve got more donation info here.
