Get in the holiday spirit and lend a helping hand with the Phinney Ridge Gospel Choir, Saturday, Dec. 13 at 4 p.m. when they present a concert of Gospel Christmas Music in the sanctuary of Phinney Ridge Lutheran Church, 7500 Greenwood Ave. N.
The group will perform African American choral music, including Negro spirituals, contemporary gospel, and music for Christmas. Tickets are free with a freewill offering collected to support the Phinney Ridge Food Bank Christmas Gifts for Children program and They Shall Walk, a non-profit medical research organization founded to raise awareness of disabled persons and develop technology to improve their quality of life.
