Taproot Theatre is giving a free behind-the-scenes look at the witty 1930s Broadway hit “Susan and God” by Rachel Crothers at the Greenwood Library at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 7.
At this event you’ll get the scoop on what it takes to put on the play, interact with the director and cast members, and see scenes from the play.
If you can’t make that event, come back to the library with the kids at 11 a.m., on Oct. 18 when the Taproot Theatre’s Road Company is giving a free performance of “Camp Super Friend.” as part of Live Theatre Week.
“Camp Super Friend,” by Bethany Wallace, is one of three educational plays the Road Company performs at schools throughout the Pacific Northwest. The play teaches kids about forming friendships, appreciating differences and preventing bullying as they join Marvel, a superhero, at super camp. It’s aimed at the K-6th grade set.
The Live Theatre Week Family Day event takes place at 11 a.m., Oct. 18, in the meeting room of the library, at 8016 Greenwood Ave. N.
