Demo for expanded Ken’s Market in full swing

Construction workers are demolishing the wall between the spaces formerly occupied by Allusia

and The Couth Buzzard.

The work is part of plans by Ken’s Market, 7219 Greenwood Ave. N., to fill the entire building and add a 2,640 square foot second story for offices. The project recently received planning department approval, but some neighbors are pushing to appeal for traffic calming measures on N.73rd Street to take into account the additional traffic the expanded store will generate.
