Healthy Parks initiative at Green Lake Saturday

Seattle Parks & Rec is kicking off its new initiative, “Healthy Parks, Healthy You,” Saturday at Green Lake with a fun run/walk, guest speaker Mayor Greg Nickels, kids activity booths, and fitness stations around the lake.
The fun run/walk costs $15 (free for kids 9 and under). Fill out a form now to save time on race day. Registration starts at 7:45 a.m. at Green Lake Community Center; the run/walk starts at 9:30 a.m. Mayor Nickels will speak at 11 a.m.
