AI for Everyday Life: An Introduction
Wednesday, October 7, 1-2pm. GSC. Free.
Whether you’ve only vaguely heard of AI, are curious about it, or already use tools like ChatGPT, Gemini, or Alexa, this workshop is for you. In this beginner-friendly session, we’ll explore what AI is, how it works, and practical ways it can support everyday life. Through demonstrations, community members will learn how AI can help with finding reliable information, organizing tasks, brainstorming ideas, preparing questions for healthcare visits, and more. We’ll also discuss the limitations of AI, how to recognize when information may not be accurate, and strategies for using these tools safely and confidently. No previous experience is required. Community members will be encouraged to bring their questions and share their experiences. RSVP: 206.297.0875.
