Rooted in Community. Built for the Future.
PhinneyWood is a neighborhood with character, energy, and momentum. Our businesses, walkable streets, and sense of place make this one of Seattleโs most unique districts.
To keep that momentum strong, neighbors and property owners are coming together to launch the PhinneyWood District Initiative.
The BIA is a way to invest locally, protect what works, and plan for the future โ funding services like sidewalk cleaning, graffiti removal, events, business support, and public space improvements.
This effort is overseen by the Phinney Neighborhood Association (PNA), which has served as a community anchor for 45 years. With the PNAโs leadership and a Ratepayer Advisory Board made up of property and business owners, the initiative ensures decisions stay local, transparent, and community-driven.
Why it matters?
- Keeps PhinneyWood clean, safe, and welcoming
- Supports local businesses and property value
- Strengthens our neighborhood in uncertain times
- Ensures funds are managed by the community, not the City
