Lots of live music in Phinney-Greenwood this weekend, plus an intersection closure

Don’t forget that the intersection of North 85th Street and Greenwood Avenue North will be closed from 7 p.m. Friday through 6 a.m. Monday so Seattle Department of Transportation crews can rebuild the intersection.

Blvd Park performs at 8 p.m. Friday at Empty Sea Studios, 6300 Phinney Ave. N. Tickets are $8 in advance, $12 at the door. (This show will also be webcast live on Empty Sea Television.)
Songwriters in Seattle Monthly Showcase, 7:30 p.m. Saturday at Couth Buzzard Books. Free; food and drinks available for purchase.
Live album recording with Roy Douglas at 8 p.m. Saturday at Empty Sea Studios. Tickets are $11 in advance, $14 at the door.
Professor Banjo/Paul Silveria family concert at 4 p.m. Sunday at Couth Buzzard Books. Free; food and drinks available for purchase.
Seattle Folklore Society concert with singer-songwriter David Francey (pictured below) at 7 p.m. Sunday at the Phinney Neighborhood Center, 6532 Phinney Ave. N.
