The Woodland Park Zoo has narrowed down the almost 400 suggested names for its new reticulated python to the top five. Now it’s time for you to vote.
- Java – in honor of its roots in Southeast Asia and Seattle
- Rimbo – “jungle” in Indonesian
- Kaa – from “Jungle Book”
- Pogi – “good looking” in Tagalog (Filipino)
- Sundara – “beautiful” in Hindi
Vote on the zoo’s Facebook page through 3 p.m. Wednesday.
