Burglar breaks in while homeowners sleep

by | Jun 8, 2010

A thief broke into a home while the owners slept.  It happened in the early morning hours of June 3 in the 100 block of North 49th Street.  The victims had gone to bed late the night before and woke up to find a purse had been stolen from the dining room table.  The locked door had been opened, but the purse was the only thing stolen.
In another case on June 4, someone broke into a home in the 6000 block of 2nd Ave NW.  The burglar got into a basement door and rifled through several bedrooms and the living room.
