Picnic hosting fundraiser for Japan earthquake victims Thursday

by | Mar 15, 2011

Picnic at 6801 Greenwood Ave. N. is hosting a fundraiser for Japanese earthquake victims on Thursday night. Money raised will go to ShelterBox USA, an organization that provides temporary shelters and other basic necessities in emergency situations.
From Picnic owners Anson and Jenny Klock:

Watching with horror as the recent disaster in JAPAN unfolded we knew we had to do something. So we’ve retooled our wine tasting this week to benefit those who are suffering and need your help NOW! Please spread the word so we can raise a bunch of $$$. ALL tasting fees and a portion of the day’s sales proceeds will be donated to JAPAN via ShelterBoxUSA.org.
$20 suggested tasting fee will be donated to ShelterBoxUSA.org.
Thursday 3/17 from 5:30-7:30pm.

Picnic has Facebook page for the event here.
