by | May 3, 2021

As part of the City of Seattleā€™s Early Outreach program for new developments, there will be a design review meeting tonight via Webex regarding the apartment building planned at 6817 Greenwood Ave N.

The proposed development is 7-story, 25-unit apartment building situated in 3,413 sf lot within a NC2-55(M) zone in the Greenwood Phinney Ridge Urban Village. The site is nestled between the Fini Apartments and Woodland Park Presbyterian Church. The project will participate in the Living Building Program for this with sunken garden and rooftop amenity space. Indoor bike parking and trash storage will be provided. This project will feature studio and one-bedroom units with a range of unit sizes.

Tonight is the formal review of this project, and will take place via Webex tonight, May 3 at 7pm. You can find the link and the passcode here. Ā In the Early Design Guidance meeting that was presented to the community back in February the architect wrote that the feedback from the community was very helpful and constructive and they hope to continue the positive interaction throughout the EDG process. Per the developer:

ā€œAt Build Urban we commit every day to designing and building environmentally friendly homes. We look at site and water protection, energy efficiency, health and indoor air quality, and materials efficiency. Building sustainable homes helps conserve natural resources, saves money on operating and home maintenance costs, creates healthier homes and habitat and reduces carbon footprints ā€“ by reducing energy and water usage and conserving resources, we can all have less impact on our planet.ā€œ
