Power of Kindness video contest for middle and high school students announced

by | Oct 13, 2019

KinderReminder.org, the locally-based community kindness project organized with the help of the Phinney Neighborhood Association and the brains behind the Gumshoe 5K, has unveiled the first phase of their 2020 activities.

If you are a Seattle middle or high school student, create a short, three-minutes-or-less video showing the power of kindness. Videos entered in the POK Video Contest could win one of three 1-year subscriptions to Adobe Creative Cloud, a comprehensive suite of photography, video editing, graphic design and web development apps and services.

To enter, post your video to YouTube and email the link, along with your name, age, school and contact phone number, to [email protected] before May 1, 2020. Subscriptions will be awarded based on the kindness they inspire in the friends, neighbors and business owners behind KInderReminder.org. Winners will be announced June 7, 2020.

Flyers describing this contest have been distributed to all middle and high schools in the Seattle School District, but since the contest is sponsored by local folks, they wanted to make especially sure that local students know about it!
