Expect major traffic delays downtown Tuesday for May Day events

by | Apr 30, 2018

The City is warning folks to expect major traffic and transit delays on May 1 for several May Day events.
May Day has become a traditional day of protests, with many planned rallies and events, and the expectation of unplanned marches taking over city streets.
The May Day March for Workers & Immigrant Rights starts at 3:30 p.m. at Judkins Park and will end with a rally on Second Avenue at Spring Street. Check Metro’s Service Advisories page for planned reroutes.

The Mariners play at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Safeco Field, which will add to traffic issues.
