Phinney Ridge Community Council’s Tuesday meeting features discussion with SPD Crime Prevention Coordinator

The Phinney Ridge Community Council meets at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Phinney Neighborhood Association, 6532 Phinney Ave. N.
The main focus of the meeting will be a discussion with Mary Amberg, Seattle Police Department’s Crime Prevention Coordinator for the North Precinct. Amberg will share information on crime and personal safety, property protection and block watch. Amberg also will be collecting new and gently used socks to give to children and adults at Mary’s Place.
Also on the agenda: A representative from Seattle City Light will present information about its surplus property at North 61st Street and Phinney Avenue North; and hear status updates about proposed developments in Phinney Ridge.
