Seattle City Light restores power to more than 12,000 customers, including large portion of Phinney Ridge and Greenwood

by | Jan 17, 2017

Around 3 p.m., Seattle City Light reported more than 22,000 customers in North Seattle were without power, including large portions of Phinney Ridge and Greenwood. Power has since been restored to 12,000 customers — including our neighborhood — but a large chunk of Ballard is still out, according to City Light’s outage map.

City Light Tweeted a few minutes ago that power was expected to be restored to all remaining customers by 5 p.m.

The cause of the outage is still under investigation.
