Design Review Recommendation meeting for residential project at 9039 Greenwood Ave. N. is Dec. 5

The NW Design Review Board will hear comments and provide its recommendation on the residential project proposed for 9039 Greenwood Ave. N., where the Volunteers of America Greenwood Food Bank used to be, at a Dec. 5 meeting.
The proposal is for a six-story building with 78 apartments, six live-work units, and parking for 44 vehicles. The existing building will be demolished. The new building will be called Greenwood Apartments.
The updated design proposal is not yet available, but you can see the original design proposal from May.
The Design Review Board meeting is at 8 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 5, at the Ballard Community Center, 6020 28th Ave. NW, in the Sunset/Captain Ballard Room.
