Neighborhood earthquake preparedness drill

by | Oct 4, 2012

GAIN (Greenwood Aurora Involved Neighbors) North, North Seattle Rotary and Epic Life Church are hosting an earthquake preparedness training by SNAP (Seattle Neighborhoods Actively Prepare) from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 20, at Epic Life Church, 10510 Stone Ave. N.

The training is open to anyone who wants more information on how to be prepared for an earthquake in your neighborhood. Coffee and donuts will be provided at this free training.

We are also requesting that attendees consider bringing a NEW pair of shoes to donate to the Salvation Army shoe warehouse. This is for the SHOES FOR SOULS shoe drive. The Salvation Army has a ware house with new shoes available for any person who needs them. Help us fill those shelves before the winter weather begins! Any type of athletic shoe preferred but ALL SHOES accepted or you may make a cash donation.
