Whittier Kids Preschool is a single classroom, mixed-age preschool for children 3-5 years old onsite at Whittier Elementary. A typical day at WKPS includes hands-on exploration of an interesting topic, two hours of play in a variety of learning centers, meal times with friends, outside time, circle time, and music. WKPS strives to provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging space for young children to come together as a caring community of learners.
On Saturday, March 9th from 9 – 11am the whole family is welcome to visit our preschool classroom onsite at Whittier Elementary School and engage with hands-on curriculum. No registration or rsvp required, just come by1320 NW 75th St. to meet the community. If you already have plans that day you can go to their web page for information on how to schedule a tour.
WKPS follows Seattle Public School’s yearly calendar and is open from September – June. Program hours are MTTHF 8:00 am – 2:00 pm, and 8:00 am – 1:00 pm on Wednesday. Preschool is closed during school breaks. New students are welcome to request enrollment throughout the school year.
