Flowers are blooming, weeds are growing, and your help is needed to beautify the yards and gardens of your elder neighbors before the growing season really kicks off. On May 11th from 8:30am – 12:30pm, the PNA Village will be holding their annual Spring Gardening Day throughout the neighborhood.
This is a great way to volunteer with your friends and families of any age, so be sure to bring your whole crew. Volunteers split into groups of 5 and then head out to assigned homes in NW Seattle. Each team will tackle two yards before heading home in time for lunch. Gardening experience is not necessary, you only need the desire to make a difference in the lives of others. Feel free to bring your favorite tools and gloves if you got them, and get ready to get your hands (and clothes) a bit dirty!
