PhinneyWood Summer Arts Festival and the Phinney Farmers Market looking for local artists and musicians

by | Mar 29, 2024

The PNA is excited to announce that the beloved Art Sale & Stroll event is getting a vibrant makeover and will now be known as the PhinneyWood Summer Arts Festival. The Art Stroll – not to be confused with the September Art Walk – was created during the pandemic as a way to get people safely out and about in the community, but now is the time to re-imagine this budding event. The new PhinneyWood Summer Arts Festival will debut on June 23rd, from 11am – 5pm at the Phinney Center.

With this rebranding comes a plethora of new features and experiences, here’s a glimpse of what’s in store for the festival’s new additions. Look forward to Workshops, a Beer Garden, Food Trucks, Live Music, Children’s Activities, and much more. Stay tuned for further details on these enhancements as the event draws near. Applications are now open for local makers to join us in the bustling artist marketplace hosted at the Phinney Center. The application deadline is April 14th.

Additionally, the PNA is extending a special call for artists in the PhinneyWood neighborhood to open their studios to the public. This is a unique opportunity to showcase your creative space and connect directly with art enthusiasts and community members.

Lastly, the PNA is currently seeking musicians to perform at the Phinney Farmers Market, a beloved community gathering hosted by the PNA in partnership with the Seattle Neighborhood Farmers Markets. It’s a fantastic opportunity to showcase your talent, engage with the community, and contribute to the vibrant atmosphere of the market. Applications are now open for musicians to perform at the Markets, which take place on Fridays from 3-7pm between June 7th and September 30th. The application deadline is also April 14th.
