When longtime PhinneyWood business Gary’s Greenwood Auto Repair closed down last November and the property at 7418 Greenwood Avenue N was sold, many prepared for the seemingly inevitable development of a tall condo or apartment building on the parcel.

Happily, the owners of the already-legendary RidgeWood Bottle & Tap have announced they are refurbishing the aging garage into a spectacular taphouse slated to open next year: The Phinney Station. In addition to a covered outdoor rooftop deck and operable garage doors opening to the main seating area, there will be space for food trucks and other vendors to help activate the corner.

“We are proud to reveal our next adventure @phinneystation, opening 2024. We cordially invite you an “open house” on June 24th during the Greenwood Car Show. Our @get_froste van will be at the station, pouring delicious drinks for the 21 and over crowd. Tunes by @itwillalwaysbeapoundsign. It’s going to be a great time, and we can’t wait to see you there!

We at PhinneyWood can’t wait!
